Denmark has advised citizens against travel to Saudi Arabia, amid growing anger across the Muslim world at Danish depictions of the Prophet Muhammad.
A newspaper that published cartoons of the Prophet, one of which pictured a bomb hidden in his turban, apologised on Monday for offending Muslims.
Islam bans any depiction of the Prophet Muhammad or Allah.
The backlash has included a boycott of Danish goods, diplomatic sanctions, and Islamic militant threats.

Meanwhile pan-Arab organisations have begun efforts to reach a UN resolution, backed by possible sanctions, to protect religions from insults.

No, you don't want to be arrested for watching that. The thought makes me shudder!
Such a UN resolution could make it so that if a preacher said something incredibly hateful, he could cite UN precedent to protect his fanaticism so that a "reasonable" person would not be allowed to call him a fanatic or criticize his beliefs. It is not out of realm of possibility that creationists could cite UN precedent as an excuse to push creationism into the school systems.
However, I think this is going much too far. Of course, I could say the same about certain other special protections given to "victim groups."
