Many of the Latin and Greek words written in the Japanese manga are transliterated into katakana. It really can be a pain in the culus deciphering these words.

Now I am working on translations of the Latin, Greek, and Sanskrit words that are transliterated into katakana characters. That is a lot of work! Luckily, I am about 60% finished.

It's true!

I have been trying to decipher Chisame's spell in chapter 152 of the Negima manga for about an hour. The spell is in Latin, but the Latin words were rendered into katakana characters. Unfortunately, those characters are tiny! It's a shame that I can't get a better scan.
